Social Enterprise
It has never been harder to work – and to succeed – in the public sector. Managers are expected to do more with less; be more creative and more inclusive but with less resource and less support.
There is an increasingly complex set of pressures and drivers on publicly funded and non-profit organisations and in many cases, these pressures are conflicting.
Better results are expected from leaders and their teams, but they are given less money and fewer staff.
We know that doesn’t stack up. As the current economic climate squeezes tighter and tighter, keeping a team motivated becomes incredibly difficult;
- Individuals can begin to feel really disconnected from your organisation and from their own roles
- They often begin to challenge how they are supposed to work towards what might seem an impossible goal
- Teams and individual employees can become disengaged, de-motivated and disheartened
At Sulis Enterprises, we have learned from experience just how difficult and challenging it can be for this sector to bring everything together into a clear vision that can be shared and delivered by everyone involved.
Our focus when we work with organisations and individuals in this sector is on helping overcome the sense of helplessness that can distract from the overarching goals and working with the organisational leaders to motivate and inspire all involved to understand, believe in, and be motivated to achieve the goal.
We do this by:
- Helping you to develop clarity about why your goal is important and what it means to the organisation
- Inspiring and motivating your people to believe in the goal, and to believe in their own ability to achieve that goal
- By ensuring you gain the knowledge essential to helping you all achieve that goal
